Knee study withdrawn before it even started
NCT ID NCT07058467
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study aimed to see if a hands-on knee joint manipulation could improve thinking and movement in people who had ACL reconstruction. It planned to enroll 30 adults aged 18-35 who were 4 months to 10 years past surgery. However, the study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled, so no data was collected.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Joint manipulation (manual therapy)
What this could lead to
If it had worked, this could have pointed toward a simple, drug-free way to improve reaction time and movement after ACL surgery.
What could go wrong
The study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled, so no results are available. It was a small, early feasibility study, not designed to prove effectiveness.
