Summary

This study tests whether a daily dose of acetyl-leucine can improve balance and reduce uncoordinated movement in people who had a stroke affecting the back part of the brain. About 200 adults aged 18 to 80 who recently had their first stroke and have trouble walking will receive either the drug or a placebo for three months. The main goal is to see if the drug improves balance and is safe.
