NCT ID NCT04123431
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study follows 225 people who have had a total hip replacement using the JRI ACE cup system. Over 10 years, researchers will track pain, function, and implant survival through questionnaires and X-rays. The goal is to make sure the device stays safe and works well over time.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
ACE Acetabular Cup System (hip replacement device)
What this could lead to
If successful, this study will confirm that the ACE cup system is safe and effective for long-term hip replacement, helping surgeons choose the best option for patients.
What could go wrong
This is an observational follow-up study, not a test of a new treatment. It cannot prove the device works better than others, and results may not apply to all patients.
