Smart CGM vs. finger pricks: which keeps blood sugar steadier?
NCT ID NCT06704672
First seen Oct 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study compares a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) to standard finger-prick testing in 270 adults with type 1 or type 2 diabetes who use insulin injections. The goal is to see if the CGM helps people spend more time with blood sugar in the target range of 70-180 mg/dL. Participants will use both methods at different times, and the change in time-in-range will be measured.
