First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether a short-term therapy called accelerated resolution therapy (ART) can reduce grief in older adults caring for a family member with a life-limiting illness. About 440 caregivers will receive ART and be monitored for changes in grief symptoms. The goal is to see if ART helps ease emotional distress before and after loss.
