First seen Apr 21, 2026 · Last updated Jun 09, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study looked at whether the experimental drug EB-1020 could be abused like other stimulants. It involved 80 healthy adults who occasionally use stimulants recreationally. Participants received single doses of EB-1020, a placebo (dummy pill), or d-amphetamine (a known stimulant) and rated how much they liked the drug's effects. The goal was to see if EB-1020 produces a 'high' similar to other stimulants.
