First seen Apr 01, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study looks at whether abdominal massage and simple in-bed exercises can reduce stomach and bowel problems (like constipation, nausea, and bloating) and improve comfort for people receiving palliative care and tube feeding. About 105 adults in a palliative care unit will be randomly assigned to receive massage, exercise, or standard care for three days. The goal is to find simple, drug-free ways to help patients feel better.
