Summary
This study tested whether a new oral medication called ABBV-932 could safely help reduce depressive symptoms in adults with bipolar I or II disorder. About 160 participants worldwide were randomly assigned to receive either the drug or a placebo pill daily for six weeks. Researchers measured changes in depression, anxiety, and daily functioning to see if the treatment was effective.
