Quick breast MRI could speed up cancer detection

NCT ID NCT03927768

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests a new, faster breast MRI technique called GRASP. The goal is to see if it can accurately tell the difference between harmless and cancerous breast lumps by measuring how contrast dye moves into the tissue. About 264 women already scheduled for a standard breast MRI will get this extra scan. If successful, it could lead to a shorter, more comfortable breast cancer screening option.
