Super MRI scans peek inside brains of testicular cancer survivors

NCT ID NCT06191575

First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated Jun 10, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study uses a very powerful 7 Tesla MRI scanner to take detailed pictures of the brain in testicular cancer patients who have low testosterone (hypogonadism) and are on testosterone replacement therapy. The goal is to see if the MRI can detect changes in brain structure and function that might be linked to symptoms like fatigue, depression, or trouble concentrating. About 10 adult men who have had testicular cancer surgery and been on testosterone therapy for at least 6 months will participate. This is an observational study only—it does not test any new treatment.
