Scientists use Super-Strong MRI to see inside the spine like never before
NCT ID NCT04445584
Summary
This study aims to create detailed reference maps of the normal anatomy of the neck (cervical) spine. Researchers will use a very powerful 7 Tesla MRI scanner to take highly detailed pictures of the spine in 600 adults, including people with long-term back pain and healthy volunteers. The goal is to precisely measure nerves and blood vessels to better understand normal spine structure, which could help doctors in the future.
