New PET scan could outshine CT for kidney cancer staging

Summary
This study compares a special PET scan (68Ga-PSMA) with standard CT scans to see which better detects where kidney cancer has spread in 300 adults with advanced disease. Participants will receive both scans, and doctors will check if the PET scan changes treatment plans. The goal is to improve accuracy and help guide better care.
