5-Day brain zap offers hope for tough depression and OCD
NCT ID NCT04982757
Summary
This study is testing a new, faster version of an approved brain stimulation treatment for depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). The goal is to see if delivering the treatment over just 5 days can quickly improve symptoms. Researchers will also use brain scans to try to predict which patients will benefit most and to find the best spot in the brain to target.
