First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tests a new 3D ultrasound technology to see if it can better tell if lymph nodes in breast cancer patients are cancerous or not. About 55 adults who already need a lymph node biopsy or have a clip placed will get the 3D scan. The goal is to see if 3D ultrasound is more accurate than standard 2D ultrasound, which could help doctors make better decisions without extra procedures.
