New 3D ultrasound aims for sharper picture of cancer spread

Summary
This early study is testing a new 3D ultrasound imaging technology to see if it can better evaluate lymph nodes in people with breast cancer. Researchers want to know if this 3D method is more accurate than standard 2D ultrasound at telling if a lymph node is cancerous or benign. The study involves about 55 patients who are already having lymph node biopsies or clips placed as part of their regular care.
