Custom 3D-Printed breast forms aim to improve life after mastectomy
NCT ID NCT07047872
Summary
This study is testing whether custom-made, 3D-printed breast prostheses can improve comfort and satisfaction for people who have had a mastectomy and did not have breast reconstruction. Researchers will create personalized prostheses using 3D scans and compare them to traditional options. The goal is to see if better-fitting, custom-made prostheses improve how patients feel about their appearance and emotional well-being.
