Three quick sessions instead of weeks: new hope for breast cancer treatment

NCT ID NCT03612648

Summary

This study is testing whether just three radiation sessions can effectively treat early-stage breast cancer, instead of the usual weeks of treatment. It's designed for women over 50 with low-risk cancer who've had breast-conserving surgery. The goal is to see if this faster approach controls cancer while causing fewer side effects and being easier to access at more treatment centers.
