  • Breast cancer drug studied before surgery in DCIS patients

    This study looked at whether giving the drug palbociclib before surgery is possible for people with DCIS, a very early form of breast cancer. It planned to compare 12 people who took the drug with 12 who did not. The study was stopped early, so results are limited.
