New shot aims to clear hepatitis b virus in chronic patients
Disease control OngoingThis Phase 2 trial tests an injection called TVAX-008 in 48 adults with chronic hepatitis B who have low levels of the virus. Half receive the drug, half a placebo, to see if it can clear a key virus marker (HBsAg) safely. The study is double-blind and already finished enrolling.
