First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looked at whether doing Zumba for 10 weeks could lower anxiety and depression in healthy adults aged 40 to 65. Forty participants were split into two groups: one did three 50-minute Zumba classes each week, while the other kept their normal routine. Researchers measured mood changes using a standard questionnaire before and after the program. The goal was to see if group dancing could boost mental well-being in people without serious health issues.
