App eases IBS symptoms in landmark study

Summary

This study tested whether a smartphone app called Zemedy can improve quality of life for people with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Over 450 adults with IBS used either Zemedy or a relaxation app. The goal was to see if the app helps reduce symptoms and unhelpful thoughts about IBS.
