New combo aims to deeply shrink rare blood cancer

NCT ID NCT07259122

First seen Dec 10, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tests a combination of targeted therapy (zanubrutinib) and reduced-dose chemotherapy for people with untreated Waldenström macroglobulinemia, a rare blood cancer. About 43 participants will receive four cycles of the combo, then eight months of zanubrutinib alone. The goal is to see if this approach can achieve a very good partial response or better, while lowering side effects.
