Summary
This study tests whether adding a Chinese herbal formula called Yiqilishui to standard hospital care can improve heart function and reduce deaths in people with sepsis-induced heart muscle weakness. About 80 adults aged 50-85 in the ICU will take either the herbal granules or a placebo twice daily for 7 days. Researchers will monitor heart health through blood tests and heart scans over two weeks.
