Herbal hope: can ancient formula mend Sepsis-Damaged hearts?

Summary
This study tests whether adding a Chinese herbal formula called Yiqilishui to standard hospital care can improve heart function and reduce deaths in people with sepsis-induced heart damage. About 80 adults aged 50-85 in intensive care will take either the herbal granules or a placebo twice daily for 7 days. Researchers will monitor heart markers and side effects over two weeks.
