First seen Apr 03, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tested a new drug called xevinapant combined with standard chemotherapy (carboplatin and paclitaxel) and radiation for people with advanced head and neck cancer who cannot take the usual chemo drug cisplatin. The main goal was to find the safest dose of xevinapant to use in future studies. The trial was stopped early, but the results help researchers understand how to better treat this group of patients.
