First seen Mar 24, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tests whether a new approach called 'woundsome revascularization' can save more legs in people with severe artery disease that threatens the limb. It involves 50 adults with chronic limb-threatening ischemia who need a procedure to reopen blocked arteries below the knee. The goal is to see if directing blood flow specifically to the wound area improves limb salvage rates.
