Summary
This study tested a collaborative care model where a team of providers works together to treat people with opioid use disorder and common mental health conditions like depression, anxiety, or PTSD. 567 adults took part, receiving medication for opioid use disorder along with mental health support in a primary care setting. The goal was to see if this team-based approach improves opioid use, mental health symptoms, and treatment retention.
