First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looked at whether standing on a vibrating platform while doing foot exercises could help overweight and obese young adults (ages 18-35) improve ankle strength, balance, and body awareness. Twenty-six people completed 24 supervised sessions over 8 weeks. The results may show a simple way to reduce fall risk and improve movement control in this group.
