NCT ID NCT06953232

First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adding a whey protein-enriched milk fat globule membrane supplement to a high-fat meal can improve heart and brain health in postmenopausal women who are overweight and at moderate risk for heart disease. Sixteen women will attend two full-day visits, eating a high-fat meal with either the supplement or a placebo. Researchers will measure blood fats, blood pressure, blood vessel stiffness, and cognitive function over six hours to see if the supplement helps.
