Summary

This study is looking for biological clues to explain why some stroke survivors improve their walking with high-intensity interval training (HIIT) while others do not. Researchers will measure blood lactate, brain chemicals, and blood flow in 55 veterans with chronic stroke. The goal is to build a model that predicts who will respond to HIIT, making rehab more personalized.
