NCT ID NCT05975580

First seen Feb 24, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding weight-loss medications (topiramate, phentermine, or both) to lifestyle counseling can help people who have regained weight after bariatric surgery. About 120 adults who had sleeve gastrectomy or gastric bypass at least 18 months ago and regained at least 5% of their lost weight will participate. The goal is to see if these drugs can safely and effectively reverse that regain.
