Summary
This study aims to understand how the body processes different types of meals before and after significant weight loss. Researchers will observe 30 adults with obesity, comparing their metabolic responses to a standard meal and a low-carbohydrate meal. The goal is to learn how weight loss from a low-calorie diet or gastric bypass surgery changes the body's internal handling of nutrients like sugar and fat.
