Summary
This study looks at whether giving a weight-loss medication (a GLP-1 receptor agonist) to obese patients before total knee replacement surgery can reduce pain and improve recovery. About 54 adults aged 40-80 with a BMI of 27 or higher will be enrolled. The goal is to see if losing weight before surgery leads to fewer complications and better long-term results.
