NCT ID NCT07275697

Summary

This study is testing if using a weight loss medication before a heart procedure helps patients stay in normal rhythm longer. It will include 200 adults with a common irregular heartbeat who are overweight and scheduled for their first procedure. Participants will either receive the weight loss medication plus lifestyle advice or standard care alone before their procedure to see which approach works better.
