Weight loss shot could boost success of common heart procedure

Summary
This study is testing if using a weight loss medication before a heart procedure can lead to better long-term results. It focuses on overweight adults with atrial fibrillation (a common irregular heartbeat) who are scheduled for their first procedure to correct it. Half the participants will receive the weight loss medication and lifestyle advice before their procedure, while the other half will receive standard care, to see which approach works better.
