Secret to diet success? study tests if metabolic feedback boosts weight loss
NCT ID NCT07372235
First seen Jan 30, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study looks at whether getting feedback on your metabolic profile (blood test results) halfway through a 3-month low-starch, low-sugar diet helps people lose more weight. 300 overweight adults (BMI over 25) will follow the diet and be randomly assigned to either receive or not receive their metabolic results at 6 weeks. The goal is to see if knowing their progress keeps them motivated and leads to better weight loss and waist size reduction.
