First seen Mar 03, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study will check if common weight loss medications (semaglutide or tirzepatide) combined with lifestyle coaching can reduce a person's biological age. Researchers will measure aging using a special blood test called LinAge2. The study includes 440 adults aged 40-89 who are overweight or obese. Results will show if these treatments do more than just help with weight loss.
