Summary
This study tested a personalized internet-based program called WebTIPS to help children ages 1-12 feel less anxious before and after surgery. Over 1,200 parent-child pairs took part, with some using WebTIPS and others receiving standard online information. The goal was to see if the tailored program could reduce anxiety, pain, and behavior changes after surgery.
