Summary

This study is testing a wearable stethoscope patch that listens to breath sounds in children with asthma. The goal is to see if the device can detect wheezing early, helping doctors manage asthma attacks. About 10 children hospitalized for asthma will wear the patch for up to 8 hours at a time. The study does not offer a treatment or cure, but aims to improve monitoring.
