Can a simple sensor spot a bad knee?
NCT ID NCT03805464
Summary
This study tested if a simple, wearable sensor could detect changes in how a knee bears weight. Researchers simulated knee swelling in 14 healthy adults to see if the sensor data matched more complex lab measurements. The goal was to see if an inexpensive device could help monitor joint health changes in the future.
