Can a simple sensor spot knee trouble before it starts?

NCT ID NCT03805464

Summary

This study tested if a simple, wearable sensor could detect changes in how the knee works after a small, temporary swelling was created. Researchers enrolled 14 healthy young adults to see if the sensor data matched data from more complex lab equipment. The goal is to see if such a sensor could one day help monitor knee health or recovery from injury.
