NCT ID NCT07156708

First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adding mental tasks (like memory games) to water aerobics can improve thinking skills in older women who don't currently exercise. About 98 women aged 60-75 will be placed into one of three groups: water aerobics with brain games, water aerobics alone, or a control group. The program lasts 12 weeks with two sessions per week, and researchers will measure memory, attention, and other health outcomes before, after, and at a 12-week follow-up.
