First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tested whether using water during the removal of large, flat colon polyps (called ESD) is better than the standard method. The goal was to see if the water-assisted approach leads to fewer serious side effects and more complete removal. 122 adults with large polyps took part, and the results could help improve safety and success rates for this common procedure.
