Animated video eases surgery jitters for breast cancer patients

Summary
This study looks at whether watching an animated video before DIEP flap breast reconstruction helps patients understand the procedure better and feel less anxious. About 300 women scheduled for surgery will answer surveys before and after watching the video, and again after their operation. The goal is to see if the video improves understanding and sets realistic expectations for recovery.
