First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This early-stage study tests a new vaccine (VXB-241) designed to protect against two respiratory viruses: RSV and HMPV. About 144 healthy adults, including those aged 60-83, will receive one dose of the vaccine at different strengths to check its safety and how well it boosts the immune system. Some participants will get a booster shot about a year later to see if revaccination is beneficial.
