New surgical technique aims to better remove precancerous vulvar tissue
NCT ID NCT05934851
Summary
This study compares two surgical methods for treating high-grade vulvar dysplasia, a precancerous condition. Researchers want to see if a technique called 'Frozen-Section Directed Excision' removes abnormal tissue more completely than the current standard surgery. The study will also track recovery time, pain medication needs, and whether the condition returns within six months.
