New surgical technique aims to reduce cancer recurrence in vulvar dysplasia
NCT ID NCT05934851
Summary
This study compares two surgical methods for treating high-grade vulvar dysplasia, a precancerous condition. Researchers want to see if a technique called 'Frozen-Section Directed Excision' leads to fewer positive margins and lower recurrence rates than the current standard surgery. The study will also measure recovery time, pain medication needs, and quality of life outcomes for 112 participants.
