NCT ID NCT04499326
First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study looks at how well a heart procedure called catheter ablation improves quality of life for people with a fast heart rhythm (ventricular tachycardia) who also have an implantable defibrillator. Researchers will ask 70 adults to fill out questionnaires about their health and well-being, comparing those who get the procedure to those who take medication. The goal is to see if these patient reports can help doctors and hospitals decide which treatment is most effective and worth the cost.
