Can video games heal your shoulder? new study tests VR therapy

NCT ID NCT07592156

First seen May 18, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether doing exercises in virtual reality (VR) works better than standard physiotherapy for people with shoulder tendon pain. Twenty adults with shoulder tendinopathy will be split into two groups: one doing VR-based exercises and the other doing conventional therapy, both for 4 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in pain, disability, and movement to see if VR makes rehab more effective and enjoyable.
