Virtual house of fears: can VR glasses treat OCD?
NCT ID NCT07206199
Summary
This study is testing whether virtual reality exposure therapy can help people with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Thirty outpatients in the Czech Republic will use VR headsets to face simulated triggers in a virtual house and garden. Researchers will compare symptoms before and after five weekly VR therapy sessions to see if this approach reduces OCD severity.
