Summary
This study tested a virtual reality program that uses cognitive-behavior therapy to help adults with autism spectrum disorder practice coping with everyday sensory scenarios like loud noises or bright lights. 90 adults aged 18-45 with ASD took part. The goal was to reduce anxiety and improve how they handle sensory challenges, with heart rate changes used to measure progress.
